I love what I do.... I am open-minded and adaptable . I spend time understanding your personalities, learning your love story and creating an authentic ceremony that has meaning, laughs... yet all while letting YOUR love shine on YOUR day.
I have been a wedding Celebrant for nearly 10years over 300 weddings.
In November 2015, I was appointed by the Australian Attorney General as a registered Marriage Celebrant to conduct civil marriage ceremonies in accordance with the Marriage Act. Each year I am required to undertake ongoing professional development and pay an annual fee to retain my registration.
I have recently expanded my services to offering both Funeral and Celebration of Life.
I am an independant Celebrant who will work
with any funeral directors if requested. Or you can engage me seperately.
I am myself married to the love of my life Neil and our children are our gorgeous west highland white terriers, Darby and Rhia, and Frankie.
We live in Railton in NW Tasmania.
I am an avid gardener. We run a registered charity for breed specific dog rescue. Westies Tasmania and Westie Rescue and Rehoming Tasmania and we have a ball organising regular outings and events with our groups. We have lots of dog-loving friends.
I Love my Job
I Believe When you love what you do.. you will never work a day in your life.. and for me being a wedding celebrant is not work.
I really do love what I do...
Common advice when you start looking for a celebrant is to find one you are comfortable with.
However, there are other things you should also consider: You should consider if your celebrant is experienced and someone who will make you feel at ease, who you can laugh with, and someone who ‘gets you and has the knowledge and the skillset to present a meaningful and personal ceremony.
Being entrusted with one of the most important days is not something I take lightly, therefore when you book me, I fully commit to you for the day.
IT IS YOUR DAY... whether you chose a big family event, an elopement or chose a destination wedding and it has to be special!

I advocated for Marriage Equality for many years. on the 9th December 2017 it happened... You can now marry the one you love. Weddings for Everyone by a wedding celebrant for everyone

Delivering meaningful non-religious ceremonies is my focus. Whether its traditional, or a simple wedding, or even an elopement. respecting everyone's spiritual beliefs, I am very comfortable with and open to including expressions of your spirituality or religion in your ceremony.
I am prepared to learn and develop to accommodate your wishes.
